Surging GOP Senate candidate Scott Brown yesterday warned President Obama to “stay away”from the Bay State during his roiling race against Democratic rival Martha Coakley and not to interfere with their intensifying battle in the campaign’s final days.
- This means; ‘please, please get involved with the campaign President Obama! I want to make you an issue!’
However Martha Coakley said, “I welcome his support, but we’ve got a lot of support here in Massachusetts (and) I think he’s got a lot on his plate in Washington,” she said.
- Reading between the lines she means ‘we will take care of this situation ourselves in Massachusetts, so just stay in Washington.’

Obama Approval in Massachusetts Drops To 44%
A poll released yesterday by Public Policy Polling on the U.S. Senate Race in Massachusetts, revealed some interesting statistics about the changing political views among Massachusetts voters. Obama’s falling popularity is, in part, reflected in the numbers Brown is receiving, but only in part, as one has to also look at Coakley’s dropping favorability.
