There have been the predictable reactions from the chattering class about the news that Sarah Palin signed on to be a contributor to Fox News.
Chris Matthews made the comment “She doesn’t know anything!” Get it? Chris Matthews accused someone of being ignorant; talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
I believe in the 80/20 rule in news, 80% of it is unimportant; however 80% of it is also funny and Palin’s contract with Fox and the reaction by the media is in the latter 80%.
This news has made me curious about what others in the media might have said about the Palin news story; so I checked around for the best rumors and listed them here.
You might or might not believe these rumors, but they could possibly be true.

Sarah Palin joining the news team was a tactical maneuver – (1) now she will be unable to run for President and (2) she created a stir. Fox News is getting a lot of press from this decision… and like all media – the drive is entertainment (because that means money).
